I don't see how he can put even 50% of the blame on his athletes for not running well at nationals... his xc teams have a history of blowing up when it counts the last 5-10 years.. his team was ranked top 10 in the country a few years back and then took like 8th place at regionals and failed to make nats. great mid-d coach.. average distance coach

I love this video!! This is so true about the coach and athlete relationship. Having been on both sides now...I see how hard it is to get both sides on the same page all the time.
