Technically, it was a Dual Meet...

Believe it or not, but the Men's & Women's track teams at A&M;(or at any school for that matter) are actually two (2) separate competing "teams" (one on the men's side and one on the women's). Therefore, each separate home "team" competed against their opposing visiting "team" this past weekend.
The Men took on Texas (one team vs. another), while the Women took on Tennessee (one team vs. another).
Thanks & Gig'em!

What's the deal with Jake's temper tantrum at the end? His time was eight second's off his indoor PR of 4:00.41, so maybe that's why? I would be a little disappointed to be that far off my PR, but it's still mid-indoor, and he has enough time to tune up and drop down to about 4:02-4:03 range, if not a little faster. Seeing this race I have doubts that he will go sub 4 indoors, but that is up to Jake and his training. If he didn't run a 34 during the middle I think he would've ran about 4:06ish, only two seconds off last years time of 4:04.88 at INC's finishing second to the Great Leo Manzano! Jake's the favorite for INC's, but will he break 4 indoors? I'd like to see it.
