I can't believe Virgina is under 9:30 and they aren't even favorites, or co-favorites this weekend, there are about 5 teams with an equal shot!

Fenton, stay away from those 79cent Texmex tacos until you start running again, or you'll look like me.
Obviously, you don't have to be the favorite to run under a 9:30. The multiple teams that qualified automatic is a good indication of that... you have to ready on that day that you compete, anything can happen!

Virginia adds Robby Andrews next year who dropped a 2:22 1k NR already and Brett Johnson who ran 4:08 junior year doing basketball in the winter. Will be great to see Vig does with them.

Rules for bringing an argument to the table.

#1. LetsRun's forums are not sources of accuracy ...
#2. See what the NCAA thinks
#2b. See the NCAA says it's fine
#3. Find other source

Tasty Race of the Week (Mar 9)

This week's Tasty Race of the Week goes to perhaps one of the deepest DMR races in NCAA history. The Alex Wilson Last Chance meet saw 15 teams qualify AUTOMATICALLY to the NCAA Championships this weekend. 8 of those teams came for the first heat of the races with UVA running 9:29 under new coach Jason Vigilante. (Don't forget that last year Vig coached the World Record setting DMR at Texas).

Watch the Full Race - DMR H1 (9:29 - UVA)
Watch heat 2 - DMR H2 (9:30 - VT)
