Mrs Johnson's! I've been there! I love Austin. They were tasty donuts, and that was a tasty race indeed.

Jenny can run with Defar and Dibaba with the shape she's in right now. She's only 20seconds off. Can't wait to see her break 9minutes in the Steeple.

That looks like a damn fine doughnut. It must be nice and fresh if something that big will squish down into one bite. Yum.

And the 8 second comment MIGHT have referred to the old Championships record. If I remember correctly (whihc I might not) Kim Smith ran about 8:50 at NCAA indoors way back, which at the time was the collegiate and championships records. Then Sally ran the 8:48 for the collegiate record.

How is it 8 seconds below? Kipyego ran 8:48 at BIG, meaning it's about 6 seconds under the old record.

Tasty Race (Mar 16)

Colorado's Senior standout, Jenny Barringer, has been on a mission every time she's stepped on to the track this season. This past weekend at the NCAA Championships was no exception. Jenny toed the line with the best in the nation and lapped ALL BUT ONE runner in winning the title and setting a new NCAA mark in the 3000 meters. Jenny's 8:42.03 was 6 seconds under the old record held by Sally Kipyego and may be a mark we see stay around for a while.

Real tasty....
