Uh, Ian, I don't think moving out in to lane 2 on the straight, when you feel you are going to get passed is "putting the jets on". And Will, Daundre clearly isn't untouchable, as he almost got beat despite bush-leaguing that one.

My plants all died this winter. I believe it was due to unintentional neglect because I was preoccupied with New England races at obscure distances.

How was Loxam pushed almost into lane 3? He tried to pass Barnaby up and Banaby put the jets on...I did not see anything that warrented any "clocking".

what a puss... barnaby went out way into lane two on the backstretch and pushed almost to lane three on the homestretch... fast time... but that was some bull if I was Loxsam I would have clocked him after we crossed the line

that was a really awesome race.. what could those guys do in an outdoor 800? Sub 1:50, they were looking really strong at the end.

Tasty Race of the Week (Feb 23)

Thanks to Diane Malloy for her nomination of this week's Tasty Race of the Week!! from Diane:

Daundre Barnaby from Weaver High School:

Won the mens 600 in 120.29, breaking the Connecticut State and meet record and placing him US #3. This was an incredible race with Cas Loxsam coming in second at 120.65.
600 State Record, #3 US

Then Barnaby Won the 300 in 34.10 for US #3
300 Open Record, #3 US

Then Barnaby Anchored the winning 4x400 team (3:27.20)
4x400 Open Record
