It's a breathe right strip. It opens up your nasal airway to allow more air in. I read somewhere that he has allergy problems which is why he wears it. Many people think it enhances your performance but there have been several scientific research studies all saying that it doesn't help with it at all.

Good attitude and focus as well as performance. Nice to hear Galen's support of the team and vision for leading the Ducks in being competetive indoors for NCAA's.

Galen has really stepped it up this year... say what you want about the breathe right strips and being half-pro and half-collegian, he is really running well, and will probably finish higher at worlds this year than the Olympics last year...
maybe he goes sub 27?
