I am happy I looked at this video for the single reason that Andrew Carlson wrote on this wall. Spotting his activity is like seeing big foot. It goes without saying that Carlson should have his own column and tv show for that matter.

I have never posted a comment...but this inspired effort is simply the greatest thing to ever happen to flotrack. The video is so simple, yet, I am left with many questions upon countless reviews of this man's work.

1). What was his ailment?
-He seems to be grabbing a hamstring towards the end...but at the beginning he appears to be suffering from aggressive internal shut down. He may have actually hurt his hamstring on the tuck and roll towards the finish line.

2). Did he believe the tuck and roll was the most efficient way to complete the final 5 meters?
-This man is obviously a showstopper who loves to live in the limelight. He is truly a beast that gave every ounce of energy he had on this day...but he is also a perplexing competitor. His choice of sweatpants for race day screams "an even keeled, smart, yet aggressive racer". His dive for the finish line (that comes up short!) reeks of a moment of desperation during a poorly planned and poorly executed race strategy.

3). What happened to the competitors behind him that resulted in a loss to this road warrior?
-I am sure there is compelling footage out there of the mental and physical breakdown of the the lethargic gentleman that slog in behind this guy. Or were they in fact just giving this concrete giant his time and space to complete the task?

Whatever the case may be...because of one man...Flotrack has now moved into my top 5, video based running websites. Thank you!
