Her first year in the High Country (2009) saw her knock 31 seconds off that best to run 15:56.8 and qualify for her first ever Outdoor USATF Championship (Eugene '09). Minty also knocked almost 2 minutes off her best in the 10,000m running 34:18. Minty saw success on the roads as well finishing 3rd at the Armagh Road Race 3,000m in Northern Ireland and finishing 6th as well at the Boston Athletic Association Half-Marathon in 1:16. Minty has taken to higher volume training very well and as such will be running her first marathon in 2010.

#4	Racing In Ireland! February 21 at 5:39pm What a great way to spend the closing days of February.....racing in Ireland. I do believe that every race is worthy of video coverage since so many people can learn from the moves that the leaders take.....so maybe, the coverage couldn't take in all the international runners who were there, but knowing Flotrack, this coverage is just the tip of the iceburg for many good things to come. reply
