Hi Eamon. We never met, but I saw you win those multiple miles at the Millrose Game, back in the 80's. I was a high school runner at the time.

The other day, I went to pick up my son at the RYE YMCA and saw your picture, when you broke 4:00 at 41. I told my son, "that was and still is one of my idols growing up". It's nice to see the names of Coughlin, Carroll, Treacy, the Irish Connection, as we call them in Manchester CT USA. They dominated the Thanksgiving Day Road Race 10K. They inspired many to hit the track and have fun.
