U B Wrong!   August 13 at 2:45pm
No, she didn't intentionally spill the water. Are you serious?

Francisco Casillas   August 13 at 2:34pm
you can tell that the woman giving the water out, spilled the water intentionally.
I mean, come on, the only elite runner out there , and she's already reaching for another water cup. Seriously, the second runner was probably minutes away from Ryan. Why couldn't she take her time. I hate it when they do that to me.

I agree that his arm carriage looks awkward here. His form in Houston 1/2 was amazingly fluid...it very much looks like he's "trying" to do something different...and trying a little too hard. I'd love to here from coach Mahon what's going on there.

Thanks to Flowtrack for showing up...with Ryan you don't want to miss a race just in case he pops something big. Very interesting

He runs with his arms arms at 110 --> 120 degrees to create stability for his long frame. If he switched to more of a Bekele arm motion of 75-->80 degrees, it would take more focus on balance (requires a stronger core), but would translate into 2-3% increaese in foot release (from the spring release of sustained tension). This would take work, but push him into range of the top 3.

flo says: "you can see people looking for registration".....

Then the camera pans over and shows beer belly guys wearing jeans walking with portable chairs.

Nice Job   March 1 at 9:28am
Good coverage of Hall and the race, got a good sense of the course, pace, RD's perspective, crowds, etc. Looks like a nice laid back, fast run. Would be fun one to run. Interesting how he can maintain the pace he does with no competition. What a tough competetor.
