Just to clear things up I'm speaking as a huge fan of track, I'd be super happy if my overweight casual 'jogging' next door neighbor knew who Solinsky, Fam, or Tegenkamp were, but at the moment this is great that people may be finding out who Hall is through a huge event like this

awesome guy, getting a lot better at interviews, this is the guy thats bringing resurgence to the popularity of running since the average joe shmoe runner can find out who he is through Asics and the marathon, unlike a random 1500m runner. Ultimately its the people who run in the mass participation road races that get attention; they connect to people

I can't wait until he does the Chicago Marathon and sees what real baseball fans are like at the ball park. The bowl cut is killer. Ryan should have his hair like that for the marathon. After he wins, you'll be seeing all the high school and college runners sporting the look. Destroy the Boston course Ryan.

Little Leaguers   April 15 at 8:40pm
unfortunately, there are NO little leaguers in running. There needs to be and the education needs to be there about "who" the elites are. There is not the mainstream media exposure for elite runners (outside of the olympics) like there is for other major sports. We don't need to be the NFL, but I settle for hockey or soccer's popularity at this point!!
good luck ryan!!! I hope you do win it.

I have been trying to do that for years! Exactly right.
