Haha this is Anthony Manfrin, and 4:26 is sick nasty for a freshman, he'll have a fun time at the Gala for sure!

haha. Did this Manfrin guy do absolutely nothing. I mean nothing. He didn't do cross country either. You dont need to call me a douche either. Cole went from 4:35 to a 4:26 in 3 weeks, and a 10:05ish to a 9:34 in the 2mile

Flotrack should cover the Midwest Distance Gala on the 13th.
Most definitely should cover the midwest Distance Gala. I've heard rumors of Hasay, and Zach Mellon, and the kid from Illinois who ran a 4:05 saying that he can beat Rob Finnerty's 4:01. Also, watch for Cole O'brien in then freshman mile (4:26PR). He doesnt train in the off season either. HAHA!

the sad thing is that you could probably say its a little big on me now....and i was smaller back then. but thats middle school for you, a small kid running in a over sized cotton t-shirt. that thing has memories though....probably ran one of the most exciting races of my life in that thing. a battle with me and my rival mike barton in the mile in 8th grade. i luckily outkicked him, 4:47-4:48....i'll try to upload it someday, it still gives me chills.
That would be awesome. Maybe you and Mark can dig out some old videos and make a middle school montage.

I'm pretty sure the video is not on Flotrack but you can find it in the videos section at DyeStat. The top three consisted of soph Heydon Wooff who ran an 8:57.66, junior Matt McElroy who ran 8:59.91, and soph Sam Pons, who barely missed a sub-9 with a time of 9:00.95. In total, I believe there were 10 runners under 9:10.
