Wish I was a bit older so I could have been his teammate. There are some characters now, but nothing like this one.

Just the fact that a guy with an Irish accent gave the tour is so perfect.

My guess would be that Chamney, with that Irish accent, had quite the fun few years at ND. And may still be having them....if you get my meaning.

I shared 2 years with him on the team.... And all I can say is that this guy is the perfect example of a Notre Dame athlete. "work hard, play hard"
I saw him busting his balls on and off the track like no one else.
"work hard, play hard"?? "Saw him busting his balls....off the track like no one else"??? WOW!!! I don't even know what to say to that one...

Anonymous, But Not A Coward   April 16 at 2:09pm
Anyone else think that Anonymous Coward is annoying, not funny, and just kind of an overall waste of space? I also think judging by "good[sic] but not great [sic]expected a little better[sic] other tours better[sic]" that he or she might not have taken a single English class in his or her entire life.

Oh well, let the haters hate, even if you can't understand them...

it says in the description that he has the nd school record. i found this too from one of his summers competing....

"he set new school record over 800 meters at the Leon Buyle Memorial in Oordegem, Belgium, on July 1, running 1:46.82 to become the sixth-fastest Irish native in history and besting the 37-year-old Notre Dame record of 1:47.5, set by Joe Quigley during an 880-yard race in 1969"

Hopefully in less than two months I'll be finishing the Sunburst Half marathon on the 50 yard line of the greatest football stadium ever built. Being from Northwest Indiana, I worship Notre Dame and to see this video this glorious morning has made my week.
