Bio:	Mike Jay is an announcer that you will hear at many of the big track and field meets throughout the country including Stanford, Washington, and Drake Relays.

#5	Keith Conning April 7 at 10:39am I had the pleasure of announcing with Mike Jay at the Stanford Invitational. While I announced the high school events he did the college and open events. He is very well prepared and is a very hard worker. He adds alot to the enjoyment of the track meet. reply

Mike Jay, the man behind the voice

If you go to many big college meets around the country (Stanford, Washington, Drake, etc...) you may hear the voice of Mike Jay. Mike's position as an announcer is pretty unique because part of the job is to entertain the crowd and make track and field exciting for the fans at the event. We talked to Mike about how he got involved in the sport at this capacity along with how to make track meets more successful for fans and spectators.
