Keep It Positive   May 24 at 12:08am
I find it confusing why someone would find it necessary to question the fact that Jenny uses the word "woman." She IS a woman and the people she races against ARE women so isn't Jenny using an accurate descriptor? Whoever posted below is entitled to their opinion, but I think we should focus more on the subject discussed in the video--Big 12s, 4x400s and the Steeplechase. Perhaps the bigger question here is why anyone (regardless of gender) would be UNCOMFORTABLE with the usage of the word "woman." Maybe the person who posted below should ask him or herself why the word "woman" is so offensive...last time I checked it was just politically correct. Let's not go backwards folks. Can't we just celebrate the fact that women's distance running is on the rise?

Big 12's is like the high school meets that future college runners dominate. Those were the days.

Please Stop Saying 'woman'   May 23 at 5:42pm
I find it distracting and unnatural when Jenny continuously uses the word 'woman' to refer to other runners. As a female, I see nothing wrong with using the word 'girl,' 'lady,' or even 'person.' I would love if she were asked why she makes such an obvious, conscious effort to do this in her interviews.

Love you Jenny. Give it 110%, on the track and off the track. You know records are made to be broken. There's no "I" in team. Because practice makes perfect. Just remeber no pain no gain. Denfense wins champsionships.
How does "defense wins championships" have anything to do with track? You may have a point. I'm just not getting it.
