running the 1500 in the US is very competitive, just getting in the top five would be a good goal....good luck!

Sarah Bowman on 2009 and as a pro

Sarah Bowman had a dream indoor season her final year at Tennessee. The outdoor season started off on the same foot with dominance at the Penn Relays. However as the season went on, Bowman did not find the success that she had in the winter months. After graduation and competing again at the US Championships, Bowman decided to take a short trip to Europe for some races. She bounced back, setting a PB in the 1500 while in Athens and found herself with a contract from New Balance (and also sponsored by Oakley). She talks about some of her frustrations during the spring and looks ahead to a new chapter in her career come 2010.
