I was at Carlsbad for the race. Rowbury looked strong and relaxed for all but the last 100 meters. Considering this is her first race of the season, her specialty is the 1500 and the next American runner was about 20 seconds back, I would consider this a very successful outing and a great start to another (hopefully) great year.
