Floral Park Memorial is a boys team they messed it up on dyestat they fixed it tho vere is still number 1 with 44.13 hwolmood is second 44.89 plus holmood had 4 different teams that ran under 48 seconds 47.64, 46.18 45.04 and 45.02 what most people dont understad is that sometimes when these athletes come to penns they are tired because they have champs, carifta and penns the three biggest meets right behind each other champs is the hardest out of them all look at manchester and kc they would have ripped the 4x4 at penns if it wasn't for injuries 50% of manchesters 4x4 wasn't their same thing for kc i think holmwood would have ran atleast a 3.33 in order to beat manchester if it wasn't for ijuries at champs. but next year we'll see if theres no injuries i think holmwood and manchester is going to run under 3.36 i think holmwood is going to beat that 3.34 record.
I dont know what your looking at but this is what I found. So whats your point really???? I dont see any team that is so superior to the Jamaicans??

Last worlds america only dominated in the relays....except for the 200M W thats all you won...We still won the 100m Mens... came second in the 200M men...which you all didnt even PLACE amongs other which I cant bother to post...How can u compare worlds to the Pen relays were its HIGH SCHOOL VS HIGH SCHOOL not country VS country...Your not very bright....Anyway Jamaica did not have its best team at worlds last year..there is always injuries and other politricks that goes on...unlike america being an island means we dont have reserves for days so if we missing an athlete it can leave us at a disadvantage.
be careful what yall wish for cause at the world junior champs you will see the best US runners and as always the Jamaicans will loose. What alot of you dont understand is that penn relays are invites only there's teams from Florida and Texas and the Carolina's that will give alot of the Jamaican teams the business that dont come because of the regionals that they have at the same time. Check the stats the only team that ran at penns that's considered one of the fastest teams in the US is on the girls side and that's Roosevelt but please take a visit and look at http://www.dyestat.com and see if you can compete on the girls or the boys side the Jamaicans doesnt even match up
Jamaica is one of the greatest nations EVER! Simple! I heard that from various different natives of different countries. Have you looked at a map lately and seen the size of this country that has broken so many records and gotten so much recognition (even for crime). It shows we've got BALLLZZZ!!! And we're the best at ANYTHING we do! One day all Jamaicans will recognize this and we'll be even more powerful...just please don't hate, cuz when u visit the caribbean u know ur gonna wanna come here. One Love!
no name university said: the reason Jamaicans are faster is because only the best athletic Africans were able to strongarm the man on the slave ships..hence..ending up in the islands, hundreds of miles before reaching their final destination, The USA. Years of breeding only the best allows Jamaica to have bragging rights to the fastest in the World.
This is one of the DUMBEST things that I have ever heard. It shows such a lack of historical knowledge and sounds like some old time nonsense that people from longtime used to tell their children.
factzzz said: factzzz are im a americann, im 17 andd i, have too spend halff a yearr running indoorss because itzz too colddd, andd i cann beatt half of the jamaicans thatt come too penns, youu thinkk if the bestt schools in america came too penns the outcome would be the same, keepp dreaminn, notice you still haventt spoke onn the ryker hyltronn situationn, anddd if imm 19 andd i turnn 20 in july after graduation itt doesnt make itt rightt, youu guys all suckk accecptt forr bolt andd powelll thatss whyy yall all come to american colleges because jamaica doesnt have the resources to advance yopurr washedd upp careersss. youu keepp speakinn on these damnnn lil kids runnin fastt times, ill believe itt whenn i see itt bruuhhh
when was the last time an american high school ran under 40.5 in the 4x1. jamaca do it every year and as for collages where the hell do u think T.C.U-
L.S.U M.U and other get there runners from...... us schools right LOL
Now that I know your a little kid and you obviously dont know what u are talking about...I wont respond to u anymore...Bolt, asafa, shelly ann, melanie walker etc were all TRAINED in JAMAICA and they are ALL OLYMPIC chmapions...The athletes that come go to American schools are RECRUITED by AMerican coaches...THey go to Jamaica and scout these athletes from their junior year of high school..Why do you think they do that, because we are BETTER THAN YOU...Half the United STATES TRack and Field olympic team is from a foreign country....And the videos are on youtube LMAO...Poor thing..you sound very BITTER!! lmao!!!!
factzzz are im a americann, im 17 andd i, have too spend halff a yearr running indoorss because itzz too colddd, andd i cann beatt half of the jamaicans thatt come too penns, youu thinkk if the bestt schools in america came too penns the outcome would be the same, keepp dreaminn, notice you still haventt spoke onn the ryker hyltronn situationn, anddd if imm 19 andd i turnn 20 in july after graduation itt doesnt make itt rightt, youu guys all suckk accecptt forr bolt andd powelll thatss whyy yall all come to american colleges because jamaica doesnt have the resources to advance yopurr washedd upp careersss. youu keepp speakinn on these damnnn lil kids runnin fastt times, ill believe itt whenn i see itt bruuhhh
But you notice Ramone mckenze was not there LMAO!!! So you guys had an advantage...Thats the equivalnt to bolt or asafa not being on the 4x100...Not to mention that yohan blake was coming off of an injury and he even ran terrible in the 100M finals...Obviously if one of those guys are injured than america has the advantge to winning Jamaica...Your missing a very important part of the team...dexter lee still whipped your ass in the 100M ..so put that in ur pipe and take some really long drags and smoke it...you are little kids I guess lol.
By the way veronica campbell brown, melanie walker, kerron stewart, shelly an frazer etc where all runnign blazing times as youngsters and they continued there dominance as PROFESSIONALS...I believe both Veronica and Melanie have ISSA boys and girls champs record that still stand to day in Jamaica..and now the are OLYMPIC CHAMPS...so your theory is NULL and VOID....You guys really dont know anything about track and field...
EIther you are an idiot or u cant read..nobody in JAMAICA is 20 and in high school LMAO..the oldest you can be is 19...stop making stupid excuses...If you getting your butt kicke dby Jamaican high schools its because we are better...end of story...
Thats all you have to say lol....you guys are getting very comical...My point to the orinal psoetr was that AGE as nothing to do with why Jamaica is so dominant at PENN RELAYS... I dont quit get ur rant...there are atlhetes that are younger and are running faster times than guys that are older...If Jahzeel or any of these guys are going to be the next big thing thats another story....They might not desire to be a PRO sprinter...But as far as high school is concerned for now you guys got ALOT to worry about...Calm down you sound like you have ANGER PROBELMS LOL!!!!
WHATT THE HELL HAPPENS TOO ALL THIS GREAT YOUNG SPRINTERS THENN????????????THEYY GETT WASHEDD UPP BECAUSE OF IDIOTS LYKE YOUU WHO PRAISE THEMM ALL THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY AND BY TYME THERE 19 20(IN HIGH SCHOOL) THEY GET NO FASTER. ALL THE BEST SPRINTERS IN THE WORLD EXCEPT FOR BOLT DIDNT BECOME FREAKISHLY DOMINANT UNTIL THEY WERE COLLEGIATE ATHLETES, SOO LETT THISS KIDD KEEPP RUNNING THIS RIDICULOUSLY FASTT TIMES, UNLESS HES THE NEXT BOLT HIS TRACK CAREER WONT BE VERY LONG. JUST BECAUSE YOUR GRADUATIN AT 19 DOESNT MEAN YOU SHOULD BE TURNIN 20 ATT THE END OF THE YEAR, NOTICE YOUU FAGZ KEEP BRINGIN UPP PPL I NEVER MENTIONED, SPEAK ON RYKER HYLYTONS CHEATINN AZZZ
The fastest guy in JAMAICA is NOT Ramone Mckenzie ...it is DEXTER LEE is was not at PENN RELAYS...DEXTER lee can eat nickel asmeade the guy from st jago that won the 4x4 and ramone mckenzie for LUNCH...Dexter LEE was only 17 when he won the world junior champions in the 100M and he was racing against kid older than him....Go on youtube and do your research because you havent got a clue what your talking about lmao!!! You guys need to google jahzeel murphy...this kid is only 15 and already running a 10.54 and 20.14 in hundred meters...not even bolt was that good!!!! Oshane bailey is only 17 or 18 and he anchored the relay for calabar...Our girls 4x400 team with ristanna tracy etc that girl is only 16 years old and she can whip anyone of you american senior girls ...Age has nothing to do with why we are so dominant...I could go on and on but I really dont have the time...I just think that age excuse is getting old and ridiculous...go on youtube and do your research look for Jamaica boys and girls champions 2009 lol!!!
Population size cannot determine how good you are at a sport...it more genetics...if that was the case china would have the best track athlete including the fastest man in the world...I understand you people are trying real hard to come up with an excuse why we continue to dominate at the penn relays....but quit clutching at straws...just take the spnaking that you get like a MAN and call it a day.
Jamaica uses the british system which is means we have 1st through 5 form and then a lower and upper six...NOBODY is 20 when they leae school in JAMAICA...The oldest you can be in a Jamaican high school is 19....THat is if you stay until upper six which you take advance college courses..Now I am from florida and the last time I checked I there were kids in my high schools that couldnt past the FACT that were 19....So just take the ass whipping and shut up...nobody running for Jamaican high schools are 20. Romone mckenzie is 19 years old not 20.. LMAO!!! All the kids in the boys 4x1 are in the same class which means they should be high schools seniors.
don't forget that US's population is over 306 million while Jamaica's is only 2.5 now anyone even if you're not too bright would give Jamaica kudos for producing so many fast sprinters out of that small number of people. If you know anything about probability the US should dominate Jamaica 95% of the time but obviously this is not the case so give some commendations to the Jamaicans for that at least!!!
the reason Jamaicans are faster is because only the best athletic Africans were able to strongarm the man on the slave ships..hence..ending up in the islands, hundreds of miles before reaching their final destination, The USA. Years of breeding only the best allows Jamaica to have bragging rights to the fastest in the World.
like i saidd before the jamaican sprinters are olderr the uss whenn theyy come too penn relays, whenn theyy race ourr besttt theyy gett whippedd. if ryker hylton was born inn 1988 he wouldd graduate high school in 2006, in jamaica 2007 would be his graduation date, so howw the hell didd he runn at the 2008 penn relays lastt yearr??????? answerr thatt forr me RUDEBOYY because thatt wouldd meann he was 20 or 19 goinn on 20 which is still ridiculous to be running against 17 andd 18 year old kids.............maybe, ramone mckenzi was born innn 1990 so this is his extra yearr of high school iff he runns next yearr im goinn to embarasss himm andd make him wish his 20 year old ass would have stayedd inn jamaica!!!!!!!!!!! maybe youu guys should quit running against high school kids whenn youu are grownn menn andd youu might actually have decent track careers
This is a correction to the previous post. The site for those interested would be http://www.trackandfieldnew.com. Yohan Blake was the only Jamaican sprinter in the world top ten in 2008. The U.S. Junior men 4*100 relay team clocked the fastest time in the world last year posting a 38.98 while beating the Jamaican team at the junior world championships. The Jamaican team came in second to the Americans clocking a 39.25. The Jamican team was comprised of Oshane Bailey, Dexter Lee, Nickel Ashmeade and was anchored by Yohan Blake.
for those interested in the actual rankings and times for junior sprinters men and women go to dyestat.com and view international rankings. You will find that both Jamaica and the U.S. have highly ranked sprinters with the Americans actually having a larger number. Also, the best high school sprinters in the U.S. (Jeff Demps etc.) choose football as their primary sport.
truthh iss the jamaicans are old as hell compared too uss, lastt yearr thatt ryker hylton dudee rann att penns andd he was bornn in either 87 or 88, itt showss his birthh date onn the races postedd onn youtube att their national championships, sayy whatt youu wantt but all themm runn so damn fastt inn high school andd youu neverr here bout themm againn because they were all 20 inn high school runnin against americans who arent even in peak formm yettt. in the relays they win because they have evnn splits, all 48's is 3:12, its harder to find 4 american athletes that can runn 48 at the same school. in jamaica they have that. too muchh hype with these jamaican teams.
PLFD u sound dumb new jerz they ran a 41.82 most jamaican school ran way faster than that thats the fastest they ran this year right? and besides those splits dont mean anything because they were in like 6th or 7th place going around the corner and that was their 3 fastest lmao and in order to run in the 39s someone have to split in the 9 seconds besides yall came in 7th/last if st jago 2nd leg didn't fell in the prelims and Warren Weir of calabar wasn't injured Calabar would have probably won the race in the 39.80s. nobody would've been shocked because yall cant even run the 40s the top us team ran a 40.71 ripping new jersey so i cant believe this guy talking about they taking nationals hahahahahahahahahahahahahahha
you guys need to look beyond this whole jamaica vs usa thing and just continue to support track and field. i commend the jamaican schools but us has some good athletes as well. u guys just be on the look out for this 15 year old from jamaica named jazeel murphy. he ran the 100m in 10.44 secs.
New Jerz Almost shokd yall jamacians....our first three splitz were 10.3 10.0 10.1...our anchor messed up the baton exchange and ran a 11.7 we would of had alot of teamz shocked keep an update on us we takinq nationals

Coach Harrison, what a job you have doen since returning to Munro last September. We know that next track season our mile and sprint relay teams will be the ones to beat. Big up all MC athletes and coaches. Mrs Paula Foster, i know you are the best manager around.
the US needs to start doing things that the do in the west indies the primary schools which would be elementry here have events for them so they start really early the only thing we have here thats close to that is AAU track in the West Indies they start at age 5-6 and up
I hope next year they invite some teams from Texas to make it that much more interesting. However, I don't think there is a HS school team in the US who could have made a difference. No one in the US is running anywhere close to a 39.91 this year.
Cant nobody hate on the jamaicans here they came to run, being half american and half west indian I've always been split on who I'm going for but I do wish that everybody can get over the steriods stuff because it seems like only the US athletes have a problem with that you've never heard of the west indian runners failing a test. The fact is the training and right now the Jamaicans are on top even other Carib countries run alot faster that the US high school teams
Listen we dont even want any body but the word steriods beside the name jamaica, we dont run them joke deh bcuz we know how things are. lol or no lol steriods we joke about.
frist off i put LOL there for a reason!!!!I NEVER HATE and second i know all about jamacia and thier how fast they run re-read what i wrot and understand I NEVER HATE
Before all the american runners got busted for balco... Jamaican high schoolers were ALWAYS better runners...we have the PENN RELAY records to prove it...when the americans turned PRO they just magically started beating JAMAICA...NO more blaco no more win for you swore LOSERS..just get used to the ass wiping that you all will be recieving...just incase you do when the USA vs the WORLD relays..thats our B team that your up against..if you cant beat our B team then ur truly WORTHLESS!!!
