i Was kinda hesistant to comment but during Howard Shepards Senior year i was a freshmen and his influence on me was great and much appreciated. i will be apart of this program for the next 3 years and trust there will be more to come

it was the best performance i ever seen.
i literally clapped and cheered them on,

man those boy's are beast on that track and horward is not on steriods cause if thats the case im on steriods cause i went from 50 in one meet then when i got a good weathered day i went 46 thats a 4sec diff so that means im on steriods along with alot of other good runners. But don't worry bout them lancaster dont trip yall did yall thang, I jus wana find the person who knocked me off the track twice ill see you next year oh and for the record there isnt nothing against changing ya legs up you can do that its not in the rule book and my uncle works with u.i.l. and we read the handbook there is nothing against that. SO shut that up lancatser did they thang. Oh and one more thing about the steriods last year we (midway) won at state and lancaster blew us out every trackmeet we raced them and we came back at state and won and non of us was on steriods its call working hard like howard said.

Mrs. Stephenson, Lancaster is currently under review from the U.I.L under speculations of Illegal Recruiting and the fact is there have been some sources leading to other kids who have been paid to come to Lancaster just for Athletic Purposes. I believe Mr. Sheppard has a lot of Talent and has been Blessed by God but you just have to give the other side of the line a break as well. 6 seconds is a lot to drop even if you are just playing around in the race or had intense 3 week workouts to prepare you in (any event) for that matter. But the fact is, Howard is innocent untill proven guilty so therefore everyone on here is against Howard, I ask you to Please Stop!!!. If you don't know it you are hurting the kid, his coaches and family as if they are currupt as well, Lancaster already has Illegal Recruiting going on. Howard, I am proud of the young man you have become. I compliment your parents for teaching you how to stay humble even when you have people attacking you. As for you attackers, I invite you to come watch us work out at any time next year. You will see our "injections of steroids." It looks like young men working hard to be the best team they can be. It looks like young men who believe in each other and their coaches. It looks like young men who don't complain about a workout even when they walk over to a pole and throw up their lunch from a week earlier. It looks like a commitment that our young men have to their track program. Evidently, some of you don't use the same "steroids" that we use. If you did, then you would understand the type of young men I have in my program and why this track program has been successful over the years before Howard Shepard came and after he leaves. He understood that he was a part of the whole. His work ethic has elevated our team to another level and I thank him for his leadership over the years he was here. Our younger guys will be much better because of what they saw in Howard Shepard.
First of all Congrats to all of the Kid who made it to State whether you won or lost it was a great accomplishment. I am as proud of you all as im am of my own son, Howard you are a special and good person you will all ways have people who will doubt you, thats life, but as long as you keep GOD first all thing are possible, remember what your Mom and I have tried to instill in you stay Humble, give respect, and earn resepect, follow these things and you will be more special in Life and no the Track. LOL I been coming on here reading the rude comments you guys been making about me but what I have to say is why does the 1st thing that pop up in all you rude guys head is that I am on STEROIDS, but im not mad because in my eyes if guys are talking about me i must be doing something VERY WELL. You guys talking down on me about that 158 like im just a ordinary running or just an average runner but Im not. when I went that 158 i was trying to help my bestfriend make it out Jodale Burkley. and this whole season i have not really been hitting good times because of the cold and windy track meets i have been going to. after regionals since i had 3 HOT WEATHER weeks of training i started the work out i did my sophmore year to get ready for state, which was an ALL out 600 before my work out and speed which was 200 back 2 back really with no rest (did that for 3weeks straight everyday). and yes Patrick Todd did beat me fair and square cause i did not run my races and came the first lap in 14 minute flat and big ups to Patrick Todd for winning the 1000 meters in Big 12 Conference Indoor. and now if i really was on STEROIDS when i went across seas for the IAAF Youth World Team they would have reported it cause YES i did have to pea ion the cup over there. and YES im still going to run summer track for my team TEXAS STARS. and if you want my number to see if i really wrote this my cell number is 214-650-9981 and i will tell you everything there is to know be me THANK YOU & GOD BLESS YOU ALL
Is Howard running U.S.T.A.F Summer Track? because if it's true their doing steroid tests before you advance to Regionals and the Junior Olympics. So if he doesen't run this Summer then i'll have my mind set. Well unless he is just preparing for college and wants to take a break but come on the kid wants the run so will see.
If you was at regionals then you would have seen that he kept looking back, slowing down, and making hand singnals to make sure his summer teammate (Jodale Burkley) made it out. and how can you say he ran that to the best of his ability when you dont even know how strong he is and plus it was a 15-25 mph wind coming down the home stretch now wouldnt you save all your energy for the home stretch if you had winds like that?

Bull, just because someone does better at one meet than another doesn't automatically make them "on steroids!" Thats stupid and anyone who says he is is just hating. I kno Howard and I know when he's actually RUNNING. If u actually saw his race at regionals (which I did) then you'd know that he didn't run it to the best of his ability. That's BS, and Howard Sheppard is on Steroids. How do you run a 1:50-1:151 your sopre year, then get hurt your Junior year (so so get hurt) and then drop 5 seconds (5 seconds) from Regionals in the 800, there is now way. Lancaster should be stripped from there title and the 2nd place winners in the 800 and 4x400 relay should get it.
I dont see anything in the rule book that you cant switch your legs up from regionals. If your a real track runner or have some knowledge about the sport you will know that sometimes you have to switch up the legs cause its called MATCHING UP to win. They just switched their Howard from anchor to 2nd and Demontre from 3nd to anchor and put their real leg Rodney that didnt run at regionals to 1st. and plus Howard was running babck to back races so i would have gotten him out the way earlier just in case he messed up
Man I wanted to see that race between Duncanville and Desoto in Class 5A, since everybody keeps talking about Duncanville up to this day. Duncanville's Kennedy Daughtery and Isaac Ogunlade 46 and 47 runners vs Desoto's Eric Caro and D'odrick Sykes 47 and 48 runners plus the supporting cast.

Hell of a Job Lancaster, proud of you guys for representing North Texas and winning for Sharla, us and desoto are proud of you and with out all the circumstances that took place with our suspensions this year we damn would have gotten 1st and 2nd at state in 5A without D'odrick getting hurt for Desoto. But anyways it is what it is and good job, hope you guys run summer track, we represent the Junior Speedsters and I hope we get a chance to run against yall. No, Lancaster did not switch legs at the last second. It was common knowledge the week before the State Meet that they were switching legs. Besides, they both split mid 47's. It would not have made a difference either way.
