Lutz would have udoubtedly won, had he not fallen victim to a stress facture..these guys would have creamed there shorts to beat him, yet they were blessed. I prefer using luckiest kids alive

If James had his short shorts he woulda won!

Anyways, amazing all three. Congrats to Parker, insane kick at the end. Amazing, even though I was going for James.

What an amazing race. All three of those guy showed lots of talent and guts and heart and competitiveness. Very, very impressed with their poise and grit. Don't remember seeing a race like this at this level with 3 guys duking it out the entire way. Congratulations to Stinson on a great race and win.

chase rathke and anonymous coward, are you blind and stupid? sitting and kicking is part of racing and Reed took the lead from the beginning. not only that but Stinson tried to take the lead at 800 but lost it, after they gapped him a little bit he came back, if youve ever raced (which you probably havent on an elite level) you'd know how hard it is to regain contact after youve lost it

too bad he has done more for texas distance running than anyone else in the last 10 years. congress ave mile for high schoolers, founded the CCCAT, and consistently has teams battling at the state meet for medals on both the girls and the boys side.

should really think about what you put up here before you do...is not right to slander someone's name like that.
