definitely has a shot at the AR in the outdoor 5k this year. which would be bad ass.
WTF? You honestly think this? A shot at the 10k record maybe, not the 5k though. You gotta realize that only 3 non-Africans have ever gone sub 13. He's not at that level yet.

He went sub-4 for the first time in his career this indoor season, 3:57. Let's face it 5K-10K guys don't normally carry that much speed. But Galen gets to run an occasional 800 or 1500. I think that gives him an edge. 27:30's for a 10K, 13:18 5K indoors this year, and 3:57 - 3:58's miles from the same guy is a little unbelievable.
You also forgot his 1:49.XX open 800 speed from indoors this year! Unbelievable. Hes really using the college circuit to his advantage!

I still think he has awhile to go before he breaks Bob Kennedy's record. Kennedy hovered at some low 13's before he ever dipped under 13.
