About Usain Bolt

Organization:Puma
Bio:
Usain Bolt lit the world on fire at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games as he set the world record in the 100 meters (9.69), 200 meters (19.30), and the 4x100 meters (37.10). He followed up that performance…

It may seem hard to digest but Bolt is just a gifted athlete who comes along every once in a couple decades. He started running from the age of 15 and has held every record possible at the junior level and is now doing the same at the senior level. Track and field in Jamaica is a big thing which starts from early as Prep School so talent is nurtured. Our athletes who are doing exceptionally well now are those who chose to stay in Jamaica and train instead of going to the US. This is now proving to be beneficial and there's more to come. I suggest you guys out there embrace greatness while you can because that's just what Usain Bolt is......GREAT, PHENOMENOL athlete. Give him some time to prove he's drug free which I think he is because all our athletes have been running drug free all these years, only now it's a more level playing field and they are earning their due reward.

Virendbldbl, the 10.03 he ran two years ago was a jogged run at GC Foster College in Spanish Town, Jamaica. He JOGGED that race, approx 850 people will confirm it.

Bolt or any Jamaican would NEVER take drugs because of the love of the sport and their country? Ask Marion Jones about that.

Bolt ran 10.03 two years ago. Last year 9.58. Who improves that much in one year on their own? Ben Johnson took drugs because he was tired of the Americans beating the Canadians all the time. You don't think the Jamaicans are the same way? Why are all the girls in Bolt's track club also winning everything? Think about it.

I hope, my dear son, you are getting a picture with the amazing Mr. Bolt and our great American competitors and of course getting them signed for me to share with my team! I could also hang them up on the fridge for motivation for dear old dad to run like the wind!!!

Come on people! I will give you that Bolt is a freak of nature and built uniquely, as Phelps perhaps is to swimming, to do this. But in a sport that has been riddled with champions that have dopped, you have to wonder. In a sport where 1 / 100ths of a second is a large step and the records fall by as much as they have in the last year - you really really have to wonder. I'm not saying his is on the juice, but truth be told, if a couple years from now he is proven guilty of violations I would not be surprised whatsoever.

Par for the course in this sport - and they have unfortunatley put the mistrust on themselves.

Wow! There are no other words to explain this peformance. I agree with Leo; I hope he is clean. For the good of the sport and young athletes around the world who look up to young Mr. Bolt. Bravo!
It is not in the nature of Jamaicans to do drugs. Over the years our athletes have consistently done well. Yes some of our athletes have been accused of drug doping but always always note that this is always when our athletes train overseas and are thus exposed to other elements. that is just a crude thing to say. Accept that he is the best and move on...

I don't know that much about sprinting but I have to say that I think he is clean. When Seb Coe ran 1:41 he was seconds from his nearest competitor, Kipketer as well. As far as has been found in the past decades they were clean. I think Bolt is too.
