haha, i've never heard the argument that jumpers are the toughest athletes out there. that might be the most flawed theory i've ever heard.
but regardless, this guy is a real class act, very friendly and down-to-earth.

Steve Hooker Video Interview after winning the PV IAAF 2009 World Track Champs

Austrailian and Reebok athlete, Steve Hooker, talks outside the Olympic Stadium in Berlin at the 2009 IAAF Track and Field World Championships. Hooker stunned the crowd by winning the Pole vault with only 2 jumps. Hooker was plauged with injuries and only had a couple jumps in him before his body broke down. Steve jumped and missed at 5.85 meters and then cleared at 5.90 meters to become world champion.
