At age 16, Bolt ran 45.35. Lashawn better hurry up and get that record before Bolt focuses in 2010 on his earlier success. Even Wariner for that matter, whom I think should have got the record a while back with in 2007 especially with Johnson as his mentor. When Usain and Wariner and Merrit face off, track will definitely hit maximum popularity in the U.S. I can't wait. But wait, wouldn't Usain getting the world record just break our runner's morale. Who knows? The last American dominance of the 400 wil be at this year's world championship. Tsk, Tsk.
