I think you are confusing Billy Nelson with Brent Vaughn who are both University of Colorado Alums. Brent ran 13:18 at stanford a year or so ago Billy's pr as far as USATF athlete bio goes is 13:54.

I don't get it. He's run 13:18 for 5K, why not go after the 5K versus the steeple ? I know Billy's great at the steeple, but with that time in the 5K, I would have thought he was on a roll to run faster and make the USA team in the 5K. Sorry, you didn't make it on the USA in the steeple. Good luck with your other races this summer.
