Who cares what Pre said? If Wheating's tactics are working then he should stick to them.

Dang, Garret Heath looked like he was gonna hang up ahead of Rupp for a little bit. I wish he had.

I just read Galen Rupp's name on the 800, 1500, 5k, and 10k list on the regional declaration sheet. Is this correct?

Still piecing all of the parts to Coach Lananna's strategy puzzle together. Not much has been said about Kosinski/Blood. They both doubled, Alex in the 800/1500 scoring 10 pts, and Nicole in the 1500/5000 scoring 13 points. They finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th in their various races for 23 points. Coach Vin maxed them out. (Blood was pretty well tapped doing a 1500/5K with a 2 hour break). 7 races for the two of them in this meet.

WOW! This race was amazing! That crowd is amazing! Centro ruled it. Rupp was impressive to come back on Heath like that and he supposedly doesn't have a "kick"....well I guess you could say that's changed. And Wheating...WOW, just WOW!!! Awesome! Would love to see some highlights from the womens races.......

before people go crazy with their last lap times, they were running a 3:51 1500.
Let's see their last laps if they were running at 3:51 mile pace.
great finish by wheating, though.

I like the eclectic superstardom forming at Oregon. US distance running has had to many years of "rivalries" between countrymen as we could not compete on the international level.(spare alan webb) These guys in college now however hopefully will bridge the gap in international competition and work together not as rivals but as teamates, taking down to foreign competition.

Centrow is becoming a beast. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say he could take wheating in an open 800 with his better turnover and acceleration. Amazing performance, hopefully a forecast of things to come at NCAA's.
