things sound so black and white on paper when you start spittin facts like 30m meters behind. doesn't sound too crazy. on this video it looks like she's a mile behind the person in first, and like she passed them as if they were standing still. anyone with the ability to do something like that has so much more potential. even though she's already accomplished so much. Oregon is damn lucky to have some one like that running for them. can't wait to see what she does in the pack 10. best of luck becca, write some history

My vote for kick of the week!

Can't wait to have her at Oregon.
Dan,
I posted on that IL state record meet that this was the kick of the week and someone tried to use splits to say that the callahan one was better but it didn't make sense because it was boys and a completely different distance. I just thought that rational was funny. It was definitely an impressive gear shift but making up over 30m in the last 200 is pretty ridiculous! I think this is far more impressive especially after she won the 800 in 2:12 earlier.
Thor,
You might want to do some research about Pre because if there is anything to know about him is that he thinks it's "chickinsh**" to sit an kick. If anyone was pre-ish, it was definitely the girl who pushed the pace and got 2nd. That's the style that pre ran--all guts.

Kick of the week hands down. Running the 800m in 2.12 before this, closing the last lap in 65 (last 200m in 30sec.). Most exciting I have ever seen.

That kick is insane. I think it may be between this and the IL Boys Class A (small schools) 800 final for Kick of the Week.
