Boys 110H Final 110 hurdles

I have known Jamie Ruginski for over six years and have watched him develop into an exceptional athlete. Not only is he the first to congratulate his opponents at the end of an event but he exemplifies all a true athlete should be. His sportsmanship has been noted by many athletes, teammates and coaches a like. He has worked very hard to become our New England Champion three times in one year. He deserves all the praise and applause he receives at various meets whereas he has certainly earned it.

He is certainly one Maine athlete that has really stuck out with all his hard work and accomplishments. Jamie is one of the best track and field athletes in New England and is an outstanding student, athlete and New England Champion.
The Maine Athletes I have witnessed in competition throughout the individual regular season, State and New England Meets have always come to support one another regardless of where they stood at the end of the day. It is a shame that negative comments are not first investigated before they are allowed to be posted anywhere...because what we would find in that negativity is someone who is a little upset as to where they placed in that days events. Don't take it out on an exceptional athlete like Jamie but put your negativity to work on the track and see how far you can come by working hard and putting that effort forth into something positive for yourself.

Sure Jamie Ruginski is a good athlete, but nobody wants to be around a soggy arrogant personality and a person with bad sportsmanship!
