The three-time USA 10,000m champion (2001, 2005, 2007), two-time USA 10,000m runner-up (2002, 2004) and 2005 USA 10-mile champion has plenty to be proud of and plenty more to strive for. The Nike repping distance runner attended Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona in 1996 where he ran full steam ahead to claim the title of Arizona State Junior College champion – twice. Abdirahman then won his first two collegiate races at the University of Arizona, the Jammin’ Invitational (24:28) and the Aztec Invitational (25:28). With his stellar record, he swept Pac-10’s Cross Country Athlete of the Year award in 1998. In 2006, Abdirahman crossed the Chicago Marathon fourth with a personal best time, 2:08.56. Abdirahman placed 14th at the New York City Marathon in 2004 and was Olympic Trial runner-up in the 10,000m, qualifying him to compete as an Olympic athlete in the 2004 games, where he placed 15th in the world at 28:26.26.

Black singlet with gold cactus. Black Matubos with gold accents...maybe even a black and gold rival d for the kids. That would be awesome. reply

#7	Shipping June 17 at 9:58pm Abdi--FYI the US Postal Service ships anything under a pound for $4.80 to anywhere in the US. It might help the cost a little bit for people if you could charge less for shipping. reply

#4	QQ June 17 at 8:52pm So the prices are a little steep for you. But think of it this way: you're contributing to one of the top US distance runners out there right now. I'm sure some of the money goes to him, and that means he has a little more to train with, to pay expenses to go to altitude and stay there longer, to get into the big meets and travel there to run. And don't say he's not one of the best. If you'd prefer to help out someone else, send it to a runner you DO think is one of the best. It's the same thing, except this way you get a cool shirt, or hat, or whatever, with a unique name on it. reply
#3	Disappointed.. June 17 at 8:27pm great looking site, but as the person before me said, $35! I want a black cactus tee, but I really can't afford that much for a tee shirt, or the extra $8 for shipping. Since when do t-shirts cost that much to ship? reply
