Great interview Fam. Your right about so many things. The best thing for T+FN right now though is the new means of promoting this great sport and Flotrack is leading the pack.

The tattoo says:
"Plush, safe, he think." -SAMO

SAMO is the pseudonym for New York- based graffiti artist neo- expressionist painter Jean Michel Basquiat. Read about it in a running times article featuring fam.

Great interview. Fam's always interesting. And those fans he gave a ride to got to see a great race with that first heat at the trials, with Fam leading the whole way looking like a crazed mountain man with that bushy beard and bandanna on his head.

Great guy like his ideas/way of thinking, talked to him very breifly at the Gate River Run 15K before he was sweep away by his media obligations and after winning the race (great job by the way!) he still seemed sincerly more interested in talking about how I did when I approached him and talked to him even though he had never met me. Most professional athletes at least in other sports could care less about some average Joe.
