Man! I must say Ryan That was pretty cool! Hey and this kind of stuff does happen in the US, but not so much for track athletes. VIP's get bussed around at events all the time with crazy traffic antics, but it was cool to be virtually on board for this adventure! Hey and I know Bianca kept thinking about saying "yeah you people think this is Obama , but your wrong it's Bianca Knight even better haha"!

Unbelievable. How do they not hit some of those cars and those police guides, how do they not get taken out? I don't know if this is indicative of Italian drivers as a whole, but if it is, I would be on pins and needles if I drove or got a ride while in Rome. Certainly is entertaining which makes me want to experience it.

Man i really like the behind the scenes look of track and field, keep it up guys! you show the reality of it all. I run track and it is so hard to imagine that it's like that over their, just for running. I love my sport!

Police escort to Roma Olympic Stadium

I had to show you guys this stuff, it was pretty awesome. If you ever saw the video from Mark's Paris trip, its kinda like that. We got two buses escorted through the the middle of Rome (apparently we even when by the Vatican). There were about 4 police officers on motorcycles all stopping traffic, cutting people off, driving on the wrong side of the road, and helping us run red lights just so they could get the athletes to the stadium on time. You get some play-by-play here also from US hurdler Dexter Faulk and US sprinter Bianca Knight.
