Curtis Beach is the national high school record holder in the Decathlon. Curtis started out as a distance runner but converted to the Dec with much success.

He's kinda acting like that's some revolutionary new idea that he just came up with, to promote the sport and try to make it a major sport in the US. I think that's basically the plan already.
