Keet lad, you just made me feel a lot better about my also "less than beautiful form." I'm sure this has kept me from running whipit fast times on the track . . . .or maybe that's just my lack of talent.
Everyone misses you in Colorado. Come back soon.

The emotion that this man brings to the table is only belittled by the pasion the fortifies it. I wish I could sit next to him daily with a coffee in hand and feed off the morsels that fall about hoping that at least every once and I while I would be able to return the favor. I know that if I had those little pieces that were sparks from his lathe, my light, similar to his, would never go out.

Keith Kelly... a true livin legend!

Never met anyone with so much charisma... the guy just glows. I hope, for Keith´s sake, for the sake of the sport, that his body allows him at least one more shot at makin it happen.
Keith, when it´s all over... run for president..... of the world.
They should make a movie/reality series about him

Keith you are a stud. I have had four stress fractures in high school alone so I share your sympathy. That is good advice though. I also can get in shape really quick and with months of inactivity, and start to come back to quick. I have never thought of it like that. If I only got in shape less quickly haha.

I've spoken with Keith at a couple of Boston expos, and he's an amazing inspiration given all that he's gone through. He was willing to candidly share all the things he had gone through; He is a great role model as a runner in the true sense of loving the sport and perseverance. Best of luck m8t.
Great interview.

Keith Kelly recalls XC '00

Keith Kelly may be one of the best "true" cross country runners I have met. In 2000 during his senior year at Providence, Keith had what most would consider a dream season. The Providence men were undefeated until nationals winning Big East Conference and Northeast Regional Titles. At the NCAA Championships, considered one of the coldest ever, Keith went on to win the individual crown while leading his team to a third place finish behind Arkansas and Colorado (not bad company). Since his college days he has battle injury after injury including multiple stress fractures. This past winter after only a short stink of health and consistent training, Keith won the Irish Cross Country Championships. Afterwards, the same day of the race, he suffered another stress fracture and has not been able to train much since. If you know Keith then you know he thrives off of people, running, and don't forget Radiohead. We wish Keith all the best and hope to see him back at it again soon.

Check out Keith's blog to check out his training (he bikes a ton when he can't run), life, and music advice....great stuff all around. kelrock.blogspot.com
