nice interview. flotrack does a great job! Kyle is a sleeping giant. he is one to watch the next 3-years. If this is his frosh year as a professional runner who knows how good this kid can be for London 2012. with his kick he should try the 5000M. but steeple seems to be working fine. Go USA at Worlds!

Gotta love those Sun Devils in the steeple!!!What do you mean summers suck here. It's only above 110 half the summer. I'd rather run in heat then cold any day. Ehat are the chances of you and Aaron working with J Ras at Illinois?
Awesome job keep up the good work.

Get to know Kyle Alcorn

Kyle Alcorn, a graduate of Buchanan High School, spent two season at the University of Oregon before becoming a Sun Devil at Arizona State. Alcorn left his mark at the 2008 NCAA Indoor Championships when he outkicked the field to win the 3k and help Arizona State win the NCAA title. He went on to win the outdoor steeple chase title that spring in a battle with Billy Nelson. After missing his shot to represent the US at the Olympic Games, he came back in 2009 to finish 3rd at the US Champs and secure a spot on the World Championship team. Kyle has a PR in the steeple of 8:21 which he ran last summer at Heusden.
