A female has run 2:15. You need to set the bar high. He has got the right atitude. Props for him not quitting like so many other heartless runners. Has run well this year Almost made U.S. 10km team so he can make the Olympic team.

Carney is an excellent runner that has ZERO chance of ever being an Olympian. He is a good 10k guy, but is always a 5th-7th kind of guy.

He also is one of those guys that should be a respectable marathoner, but never will. This race was a perfect example of why. He runs balls to the wall for as long as he can, but that strategy fails 95% of the time.
Every year he will run a fast half marathon and 10k and all of the uninformed will predict a fast marathon and he will run 2:16.
