what a bunch of losers who critisize a great american runner who does great things for less fortunate people in the world. there should be more people like ryan and his wife. i am sure all you critics have come in 4th place at the nyc marathon. shut up!

Anonymous Coward he ran 5:10per mile for this workout. He said he previously ran the two loops before the trials and ran the first loop in about 5min pace and the second just slower.

hmm by raising thousands of dollars for kids less fortunate. the same way every single road race donates thousands to an organization and by bringing attention to the issues he is running for.

And this video is weirdly misleading because it says his average pace was 5:10 but then he says himself that he was running 5 flat for the first half and almost as slow as 5:10 for the end. I mean it is shot by runners world so maybe it just caught the last mile and called that the actual pace.

No doubt he's well prepared. Ryan's always well prepared. I'm sure he's just come off the mountain too. He knows how to use the altitude for a sea level race. We're going to enjoy this race.
