If you've never had an adductor strain - it's one of those things that just doesn't feel that bad at first. You can kinda work out and kinda race. That's why she raced.

But tough workouts and tough races can put you in a state of misery. That's why she couldn't close.

Why are you running a marathon if your leg is not 100%??? I'm a fan of Paula but seriously, don't race until you know without a shadow of a doubt that you are ready.
