NCAA West Regionals 2009 - Men's Race

i hate how teams wear spandex or like compression bottoms now.

2:52 mark it appears one of the Oregon assistant coaches may be signaling Puskedra and Centro to back off the pace a bit? Oregon seems to often 'save it' a bit for NCAA's. Will be interesting to see if they're as good as Stanford when the coaches and runners 'go for the big one.'

Also appears that Ok State, Alabama and W&M;were dominant and may have 'more in the tank' than they showed at regionals. OSU in particular smoked with a 'pack run.' Wisconsin looks good too - they easily won their regional with Krause and a couple other possible NCAA guys sitting. And Bolas and Miller (both 3:37 at 1500) may be capable of another big performance on the big stage.

Knee socks on male runners is a trend that needs to stop and move to the female side. The cross country gods are punishing Oregon with poor performances due to their embracement of this trend.
