Torrey Pines High School senior (SDS) Erin Gillingham has followed in the footsteps of fellow San Diego County runner/coach/steeplechaser Tom Kloos and signed with Columbia University. Outstanding choice!

Also at Escondido Invite she won 1600 in 4:56 this week. Still early in the season but she's listed 4th in Ca, 13th in US by Dyestat.

Torrey Pines!!! It seems like they are there every year. Junior Erin Gillingham ran the first leg instead of the last. She has a very quick 1500 meter in the books this year, maybe best in the state so far. I like her last lap, 8th to big 1st in the last turn. Their miler is a rookie! 9th grader. Unbelievable.

	Arcadia High School Invitational is annually one of the best high school invitationals in the country. The 2008 event will be no different with high school greats like Jordan Hasay and German Fernadez competing. Flotrack's David Williams will be on site with video interviews and race coverage of the events on Saturday, April 12, 2008.
