This year's 2008 Mt. SAC Relays and Flotrack will be providing Live streaming coverage all weekend long. This will be the first time in US track and field history and quite possibly the world where the viewers at home will be able to interact with the play-by-play commentary while watching a race in real time. Underneath the live video stream there will be a live blog where the audience can interact and contribute to the Mt. SAC Relays Flotrack coverage by asking questions, answering questions, getting lap splits, and much more. The coverage will begin on Friday, April 18th at 11 AM Pacific and the interactive broadcast will start with the distance carnival at 7 PM Pacific. The live stream will also be available on Saturday, April 19th and Sunday, April 20th. Please note that the videos will also be archived on Flotrack.org for future viewing.

Excelent race Juan Romero, see you in Zacatecas, you made the race, Rono has more to give and I think sharing work both can run less than 28.10.00 olympic standar (B). Excelent finish Rono.

when you are new in the block you don't expect to take the lead, especially in a legid field like that you expect to be pulled along for a good time then you realize you still got enough left to blast to the finish line!! Good job rono..

I thought at a meet like Mt. Sac, Stanford, etc. it is about running fast, if Rono had have done an ounce of work maybe they could have got Olympic standard.

Oops I meant the best strategy is to draft off someone like Rono did so he ran the best race and it paid off

Ya the best strategy is not to draft off someone. There are no rules. It's about winning.

That stuff you guys are talking about with the Standards is called "Bullshit". The rule makers are all important and would rather take more officails to go on teh piss in the Olympic village rather than athletes. It happens all over the world, I mean why would they not take Aish? The standard is set, he got it, he goes! It's simple.
