so did the guy who placed 276 ahead of him get even more attention because his performance was more "inspiring"?

Uh, distanceking, relax a little bit. Actually, after his first marathon, Lance said publicly, "that is the hardest thing I've ever done." So, I'm not quite sure he has contempt for the discipline of marathon running as you suggest.

We must start a petition for lance to do an ironman. He can swim because he used to be a triathlete, I'm pretty sure he can bike, but I'll have to check up on that, and he's demonstrated his ability to run a good marathon.

"I'm sure elite runners use tactics"

yep, its not just in cycling buddy.

I feel like htis guy under estimates the ability of the elite runners in the marathons he runs and that he tries to make it out like running marathons is easy and he doesnt even need to train for them...it just kind of pisses me off.

as far as his own finish line tape...i'm sure he didn't like ask for it. but...if he didn't want to be a dbag, i'm sure he'd tell them not to do it.

Him getting his own finish line tape was gross. That should be saved for the winners.

Lance after Boston

Uploaded By: Flotrack
The most famous cyclist in US history ended up runnning 2:50 in the Boston Marathon. Not a PR, but for Lance, does it really matter?? Still impressive that the world's best bike warrior retires and has already run 3 marathons.
