Hmm I know that track... It's too bad Sally didn't make the team, but that just shows how insanely competitive the Kenyan team is. Hopefully 2012. Good job with this video Chase!

Next time just strap a camera on and run the 400's with her. Gah the video quality is just terrible.. blah blah blah... I love how all of these people complain but have never contriubted to the site. Boo Hoo, angles are bad.. cry cry shirts are to expensive... Cram it and be glad that people are doing this for our sport cause god knows that ESPN won't.

Great job guys, I enjoyed to see a workout of one of the most dominant young women in NCAA ever..

Leung,
there are only so many angles on the track to get and Chase hit about everyone, unless he broke out the heli for some arial views which would be sweet. Great Workout Video.

nice video but the camera angels are becoming a little repetitive. Time for some new ones.

She missed making the Team. She was actually 7th Place. The race was a Fartlek. They would go 80's and then drop to 68's for two laps Then go back to 80's. Thanks Mark, I'll let her know..

10k Results   July 30, 2008 at 12:32pm
well i found results of the 10k and she wasn't in the top eight. on top of that they had pictures of the race. the start and during the race and i never saw her once. so i'm assuming she didn't run at the trials. the top 8 were all over 32 minutes which we all know sally is capable of running.

Nice video.

But it helps us to see the warmup and stretches and drills and cooldown and stuff. See the Shalane workout it's a perfect example.

I knew she was good, but I didn't know she was that good.
That workout is ridiculous.Hitting everytime on every rep is very hard to do.None the less do it for all 16 4's.Impressive to say the least.Good luck Sally at the trials!

Best I could find for the W 10,000m at the Kenyan Trials was that Kipyego didn't make top 5. Like the coach said, I'm sure the field was tough. Should she have thought about the 1500m? The Kenyan Fed. only named two women to the team in that event. I'm guessing because of A-standard qualifications, which Sally had.
