i think i gotta agree with the comment below me..
I'm looking forward to seeing the teams representing USA this year in the 4x400m...it should be interesting, with teams like New Bern, Poly, and even Newburgh (winners of Indoor Nationals). May the best and most tactical man win and good luck.

We have to do something to change that because we are being cheated out of having the best talent run every year. With those teams coming a consolation high school 4X400 could be run along with all those teams who don't make the final along with the Pennsylvania all area race.

The Texas schools will never be at the Penn as long as Texas HS's are required to compete in their regionals which they must run in to qualify for the Texas State Championships.

The Jamaicans run very well each and every year. But look at the top 10 fastest high school 4x400 of all time at Penn. 1. Muir 3:08.72 2.Long Beach Poly 3:09.89 4.Northwestern 3:10.35. Three of the top four all time are American schools. This means if the number one team in America runs at Penns more than likely they will win. I really believe Dominguez would have beat St. Jago. You don't need the Texas schools with times like these being run. Northwestern is from Maryland so east coast teams can run these times it just depends on the team. But also if the Texas teams do start to come that will make it even better. There should be some agreement between Drake and Penn so we can have that in the future.

from what i seen in the race the bethel anchor leg did run a very good anchor leg but at the same time he was never out of the race and he also ran his own race. when everyone saw the anchor leg from st.jago joggin the all immediatly just start runnin like rookies, javell on the other hand kept himself in the race and just took everyone at the end because he was finshing strong and everyone else was straining and breaking down.

This one guys say the last time he check this was america yes it is but it you look at it (USA) is not strong as jamaica at the penn relay. For years now jamaica owns the penn relays and you wanna talk about (USA)V/S the world have course the going to win all the time if you guys notice that they are catching up with all the american them because they are taking drugs just look at marion and justin. And watch espn of may (19) when more american big name runner are going to call out. So all who is hating on jamaica get over it.JAMAICA FOR LIFE

I agree with Texas we need to rep our own country great Job Behtel. Javell is the man. I know it was a relay but you have to give credit where credit is do. None of it would have been possible if it was not for the last leg. Javell will be the talk of the Penns for a minute. Mrfourtwoforty how can you call javell a loser can you do that? What are your times. If you can not run a time like that then no one has the right to call any one a loser. What he did was awsome. fourtwoforty are you wearing a penn watch? exactly... for the person who run wit javell said Bethels 2nd leg is not a 400 runner. Yes he is. He got out there and ran 50 split and so did the first leg who should have put it down but instead he ran a 50 split also. I hope the guy who wrote he runs wit javell is not a part of the relay team because that would be messed up if he is a member of the relay and he is saying negative things about a team mate. I checked out javells time from indoor and outdoor thus far this guy is the truth and he also proved he is more than a relay runner. Great Job Bethel and especially javell from your fans in Georgia.

Congrats to everyone. Why are we on the Jamaicans tip. We should all be given mad love to Behtel they are from the USA. You should be tired of people coming into your country taken over. Represent where you are from USA I don't see some of you trying to move out the country. We have it good and so many want to be in the USA. Other countried rep there country lets do the same and Rep ours. Good Job Bethel. I have to agree with the Doc Javell ran a great race and to get second is great if theu had 10 or more meters to go we know Bethel would have walked away with the title but it is what it is. Can any of you get out there and do what Javell did? Bethels 1st and second leg could have given more help. The guy who wrote that the 2nd leg is not a 400 runner neither is the 1st leg the 2nd and 1st ran the same split.

a guy that runs wit javell true tho Ja-Vell got heart he'll get that first, but the 2nd leg not 400 runner is a excuse just except ur lost man. I'll have to agree wit walshy20 a rematch in jamiaca dats their home so idk u wannna do that. Then i disagree wit walshy cuss u blaming weather for ur slo azz time man. and finally fourtwoforty u can't call Ja-Vell a first loser simply becuss he worked his azz off for that second and if he's a first loser why the team still get watches huh? Look like winners to me.

Did hughes stay consistant Ja-Vell ran 46 in prelims and finals. But also people blame weather was the reason why st.jaago won butdats an excuse and they said it really effect people running but it didn't for Ja-Vell. Thats just a excuse and only losers make excuses. If u lose learn from it and come back with a different mind set.
