#4	Uivandal May 13, 2008 at 6:49pm His name is Mike Carpenter and he's from Idaho. He vaulted 17-1 this last weekend, so it must not have been too serious. reply
#3	Kevin_x April 27, 2008 at 4:50am Just wanted to point out that had he not walked away from this accident okay and seemingly healthy, we would not have uploaded it. This is one of those videos where you really have to wonder how close it was to being a very serious injury. In turn, that brings up whether or not helmets should be a part of the event. I do not have information on who this was, but I believe he was runner-up in the finals of the Mens Pole Vault on Saturday. In hindsight with the understanding that he was not hurt, it is an incredible video. reply
