Flotrack was LIVE on site at Stanford on May 4 for the 2008 Payton Jordan Cardinal Invitational. The 2008 Payton Jordan Invite was an amazing meet with all the top American runners and even Craig Mottram of Australia and Mo Farah from Great Britain. Shalane Flanagan broke the American record for the 10k and Kim Smith broke the New Zealand 10k record. #5	Re: Track Fan   May 5, 2008 at 7:24pm it sounded like stanford botched the heat sheets pretty badly. all of them were wrong and didn't reflect the actual athletes racing. that makes it pretty hard to commentate. granted it could have been a little smoother, i still enjoyed it. reply

#2	Track Fan   May 5, 2008 at 12:55pm Who are these commentators? They act like a bunch of clowns at a circus! Have they ever seen a collegiate NCAA 800m race before? Sure doesn't seem like it! One guy didn't know who Katie Erdman was, and BOTH of the announcers had no clue that Maggie Vessey came off the turn hard and took control of the race for the win. She was the 2005 NCAA runner-up for Christ's sake! And yet they were totally clueless without heat sheets. Time for some much more knowledgeable announcers! reply
