Scott Bauhs is certainly a rising star, and I didn't know how young he is and that he is still in school. The Olympic Trials are going to be very interesting this year.

Hey guys, nice try for a commentary. But it wouldn't hurt to do your homework BEFORE attempting to comment on such a race. Alistair Craigg was NOT in the race, didn't you notice. And Jan Fitschen is NOT Günther Weidlinger (the one who actually placed second, even though Germany is close to Austria (just for the record: there are no kangaroos in Austria!)

Yes he is, and all you have to do is look at what he has done in a little over a year. No one else really comes close, and he is only 20 years old(there will be plenty of time to improve even more).

Scott Bauhs is not one of the best runners in the world. Settle down there, he is a good American runner but don't get carried away.

Scott Bauhs is probably one of the best runners in the world. This has been an amazing year for him, and he is so young. It will be interesting to see how he does at the Olympic Trials, and at the Olympics(Yeah he is going to make it). Great job from everybody at Chico State, you all deserve some kudos!

That is the worst commentary I have ever heard. DO YOUR HOMEWORK! who was the guy from Japan......? maybe his name was Takayuki Matsumiya. How about a little objectivity in the comments from other viewers. How could anyone claim this was a good commentary? e.g. "Anyone can win this race.." I hope American running is in better shape than this commentary!

Excellent race! Nice coverage, Flotrack. A very lively, knowledgeable crew who are catching the North American distance running renaissance as it happens. Nice to see Eric Gillis (28:09)representing Guelph, Ontario, Canada's powerhouse running town!!
