you've got to start the split when the baton is in the middle of the exchange zone. From the middle of the zone to the finish line is 100 meters. You're not timing the kid, you're timing the baton.

you have to remeber the previous leg runs a bit more than they are supposed to sometimes,so its not always accurate time.

the splits can be really that fast people, it's a flying sprint, no reaction timed, and handtimed....PLus the atmosphere of a really and come from behind... Not unrealistic, especially since this guy has run 10.1 already this year..Probably split somewhere in the 9.1-9.4 range..

Holy Crap, I didn't think you could have a kick in a 100. I had him at like 10.31 but I don't think that is right. Anyone know what his real split was?
