Why not stop by Grambling State University, in Grambling Louisiana. It is between Shreveport and Monroe, if you get near Louisiana. Talk to Carlos Robinson. Good T&F program there. We win more championships than the football team.

Ryan, Augusta is just a short drive from Clemson and wouldn't be a big detour. You can hit I-20W and be in Athens before you know it. If nothing else, I'll by lunch and throw some swag at ya. Lord knows you probably won't be doing much laundry on this trip and could use the free clothes so you don't begin to smell. lol
-By the way, did you say you ran at Clemson??? If so, Ian Potter (All-ACC hurdler from Clemson) works for Augusta State. Don't know if you guys ever crossed paths.

This is pretty far out of the way but a workout of the Madison Crew (Tegenkamp and company) would be absolutely awesome!

Do come to Kentucky, please? Make a stop in Louisville while you're at it. The program has really come a long way in just a few years.

Ryan,
If you or FloTrack are ever in or passing through Columbia, SC you have a place to stay. We've got some great sprinters here and few old-timers who've run in the Olympic Marathon Trials and could give you some good stories. Later,
-Josh

Dont know if it would fit into your trip but if your still in NC. You should stop by Queens University of Charlotte. Maybe talk with the guys there? Scott Simmons great coach. Daniel K top DII runner. And there assitant coach Jeff G. and former hansons guy. I would say it would be worth while and think a lot of people would like to hear from those at QU.

Ryan,

A daily video journal %u2013 the way Mark did it last year in Europe was nice. Something simple that tells the story of your journey, the running locations you see and the runners you encounter.

Alright, you need to stop by UT-K (University of TN). I am in Murfreesboro so there is always MTSU and of course in Nashville, you have Vandy, Belmont etc. If you are looking for any type of high school runner, Kathy Kroeger of Independence High School is a former footlocker champion.

So I made it, finally in AUSTIN!! My journey led me to a new destination with each passing day. New people, new places, new workouts...it was a blast

My goal was to bring you as much as I could over the month or so I was out on the road. I started up in Maine (at my parents') back in April and journey down to TX. There is plenty of cool stuff out there that I didn't get to see, but that just motivates me for the future and all that we can bring to you here on Flotrack.

I have some more stuff that will be coming out so keep watching. Feel free to let me know what you think so we can get more of what you love in the future!

I hope you enjoy and thanks for all your support alone the way!

-Ryan Fenton
