5:53? That would be a pretty good 2400m mark, haha. Nice interview, this guy is going to be such a huge factor the next couple years.

Assies's talk funny. Notice how words that end in A sound like AR. For example: Americar or Ericar

Aussie Mark Fountain

Mark Fountain is one of Australia's top 1500 meter runner having run 3:33 (faster than Mottram) and 3:53 in the mile. He trains and lives with his wife, Erica Sigmont, in Fayetteville, Arkansas with Coach McDonnell, Seth Summerside, and Alistair Cragg. Over the past year he's been trying to get back from a 4 month injury. With only a few months to go he's trying to get back on track, but ran into a little more trouble at the Adidas meet last month.

Mark talks about his troubles when getting denied at U of Arkansas, the difficulty of coming back from injuries and what it'll take to get to the games in Beijing.

So I made it, finally in AUSTIN!! My journey led me to a new destination with each passing day. New people, new places, new workouts...it was a blast

My goal was to bring you as much as I could over the month or so I was out on the road. I started up in Maine (at my parents') back in April and journey down to TX. There is plenty of cool stuff out there that I didn't get to see, but that just motivates me for the future and all that we can bring to you here on Flotrack.

I have some more stuff that will be coming out so keep watching. Feel free to let me know what you think so we can get more of what you love in the future!

I hope you enjoy and thanks for all your support alone the way!

-Ryan Fenton
