Hi Brian...I'm the son of the other Puz living in W. Lafayette! My dad keeps me informed about your other life on the TRACK! Down thru the years, he's sent me photos and articles, cut-out from the local paper, while you were at Ridgewood and Ohio St. I tried to follow what was going on at the Trials via the web, since TV coverage was spotty, at best! I just wanna congratulate you for making it all the way to the finals! Why not, huh? You're one of the best in the USA! But, just missing qualifying for the Olympics has to be a tough thing to accept, even in believing that all things in the life of a Christ Follower come to pass according to the Will of God!!! I'm glad to hear you have the next olympics in mind because you're still young enough in your sport to press on for the desired prize set before you!!! Please tell your dad and uncle I said hello, ok!

Thanks and God Bless,
Jim

I don't think steeplechasers get enough print. I can't imagine doing what they do. Very tough. Good luck Brian.

Loved the interview. Olinger was just a name (the guy that mysteriously busts a hot steeple once a year) before this interview. Seems like a good guy, and one of the few that fully expects bust-out performances out of at least of few competitors at the trials. Hope he's healthy

So I made it, finally in AUSTIN!! My journey led me to a new destination with each passing day. New people, new places, new workouts...it was a blast

My goal was to bring you as much as I could over the month or so I was out on the road. I started up in Maine (at my parents') back in April and journey down to TX. There is plenty of cool stuff out there that I didn't get to see, but that just motivates me for the future and all that we can bring to you here on Flotrack.

I have some more stuff that will be coming out so keep watching. Feel free to let me know what you think so we can get more of what you love in the future!

I hope you enjoy and thanks for all your support alone the way!

-Ryan Fenton
